Market Shares offer free choice baskets, so you can customize your shares when you pick-up. You pick your share! Our market style shares are picked up at the Broome Regional Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9-1.
Boxed shares are pre-packed shares that work best for folks who are looking for a mid-week CSA. Boxed shares are available on Thursdays at multiple locations throughout Binghamton, Cortland, and on-farm.
Is work required with the CSA?
No, but.. Work commitments are an important part of our CSA. We ask for a work commitment for market shares (Summer CSA Only). Not only does it help to keep the cost of our shares down, it also provides a deeper connection to your food and the community that makes this farm possible. We ask that weekly CSA members commit to two shifts at market and 10 week half shares commit to one shift over the course of the season. Work shifts are 2 hours. Members can choose to pay an opt-out fee that goes towards our sliding scale fund.
Boxed shares members are not asked for a work commitment. Due to the style of our boxed share distribution, we do not ask for a work commitment.
What's in a share?
Our CSA baskets consist of a diverse selection of organically raised vegetables. We grow all the classics as well as some unique CSA favorites, like ground cherries and kohlrabi. Along with our veggies, you also get a weekly newsletter with recipes, a discount at market, on-farm events, options to purchase bulk veggies, and a stronger connection to the farm and land that sustains us.
How do I sign up?

Mail a CSA agreement with a check to the farm or bring it to market
Fill out our Google Form here and pay as above
Buy online from our farm store with a credit card
While paying early is an integral part of the CSA model and full payment before the start of the CSA is appreciated, payment plans are available. Please contact us for more details.
A member-supported sliding scale option is available to help members afford our CSA. With financial support from our work commitment opt-out fee and through generous donations from our members, we are happy to offer affordable shares to all members of our community. If you're interested in joining our CSA but our price is a bit out of range - please don't hesitate to contact us to take advantage of the sliding scale and/or to work out a payment plan that works for you and your family.
